TRIPLY EDITORIAL / EXAMPLE ITINERARY

Roma design, food, and neighborhood parks

A neighborhood walk linking everyday design, the David fountain, a seasonal restaurant, and two distinctive outdoor landmarks. Start with MODO’s current exhibition, then walk to Plaza Río de Janeiro. Rosetta is the sit-down meal anchor; reserve through the restaurant if choosing a full meal. Continue via Fuente de Cibeles toward Parque España. All stops remain within the adjoining Roma–Condesa area.

Day 01

01

Roma Norte / Culture

Museo del Objeto del Objeto

Known as MODO, this museum explores design and communication through everyday objects, packaging and graphic material. Its starting point is Bruno Newman’s collection, making ordinary products a route into cultural history.

02

Roma Norte / Outdoors

Plaza Río de Janeiro

A neighborhood square centered on a fountain with a replica of Michelangelo’s David. Older mansions and newer residential buildings frame it, making it a useful pause for looking at Roma Norte’s changing streetscape.

03

Roma Norte / Food & drink

Rosetta

Elena Reygadas’s restaurant combines Mexican cooking with Mediterranean and especially Italian influences. Founded in 2010, it has a seasonal approach and a reputation for pasta and bread; plan it as a sit-down meal during a Roma visit.

04

Roma Norte / Outdoors

Fuente de Cibeles

A replica of Madrid’s Cibeles fountain, installed in 1980 as a symbol of ties between Spanish and Mexican communities. The fountain occupies the traffic circle where several Roma streets meet and makes a recognizable meeting point for a neighborhood walk.
